In Israel, Mondex cards were issued in the town of Rehovot and was one of the longer lasting Mondex programs worldwide. Later a number of educational institutions issued Mondex enabled identification and library cards to students attending universities and high schools located throughout Israel. It appears the the entire program lasted two years and 25,000 Mondex cards were issued. We continue to research the background and particulars of the Mondex program(s) in Israel.
